QENO Robeson Executive Director Roundtable - Working with Foundations

Boards are a decision-making body and responsible for governing a nonprofit organization. Providing overall leadership and policy direction, the board ensures sound stewardship of nonprofit assets and resources, are held to the highest legal and ethical standards, and ensure their loyalties are to the nonprofit through prudent good faith decisions to advance the nonprofit organization's mission. this 3 module course teaches you the responsibilities of being a board member, practices that you can implement to increase the effectiveness of your board, and how to keep your board motivated and engaged.

Class dates will be:
Module 1: Board Roles & Responsibilities - Oct. 22nd
Module 2: Intentional Practices - Nov. 24th
Module 3: Board Revitalization- Dec. 9th

Refunds/Cancellations: There are no refunds after the registration deadline of 10/19/15. If the class is canceled by UNCW due to low enrollment, inclement weather, etc., a full refund will be issued.
