Every nonprofit organization needs a fundraising plan. And every nonprofit’s fundraising plan is going to look different. As some of us have just wrapped up our fiscal year and others are gearing up for a big end-of-year appeal, it is the perfect time to talk about what your plan looks like and how you can make changes that will benefit your organization in the near future.

Learning Objectives: 1) Diversification of funding sources is important. You will hear about how you can begin to make changes toward that end. 2) Your fundraising plan is a road map with no strait lines or obvious detours. The presenters will talk about times when they went in a drastically new direction and struck out into new territory. 3) Winning over a new donor is fun exciting but retaining donors is easier and important. Too many of us are focused on how to land that big donor when many of the people already on our donor list have the same if not greater capacity to give.
